In prior versions of Mac OS X, you used to hover your cursor over into the upper right corner to find the exit full screen button, but now that’s part of the green button on the opposite side of the screen. The big difference between how this works now versus how it worked in prior versions of Mac OS X is where the exit button is. Click on the newly visible green button in the upper left corner to exit out of Full Screen Mode.When in full screen mode, hover your mouse cursor near the very top of the Mac screen until the menu bar and window bar displays.

What seems to confuse a lot of Mac users is just how to find that green button once an app is sent into full screen where the window titlebar disappears.
